More Deck Building

As I've written previously, the basis behind all of our decks so far have been the starter decks for Diamond and Pearl. What that means is that all of the decks follow the Fire, Leaf, or Water lines almost exclusively.

Given the number of boosters we've been buying and the number of Lightning and Psychic cards we've been accumulating, the desire to build out a Lightning and Psychic deck has been growing. However, we just do not have enough cards to complete some evolution lines (we lack Luxray and Elekid and lots of our lines are only singles). Further, we are challenged by our total lack of adequate Trainer cards.

The only recourse we have is to continue to purchase DP boosters and hope for the best. Recently, we've found that single boosters have become unavailable in our area for some reason. The only way to buy DP boosters is to buy a combo blister pack with a DP promo, DP coin (Palkia or Dialga), 2 x DP boosters, and 1 Crystal Guardian booster. This combo pack comes in at around 12 bucks a pop, so its an expensive way to go. We will just have to be patient and wait for DP boosters to become more plentiful. That or we just try to tread water until until the Mysterious Treasures expansion comes out (we plan on buying a box of boosters).
