Chikorita and Totodile in Pokemon Mysterday Dungeon: Explorers of Time

After answering the questions, I ended up with Chikorita. My daughter was so happy. I asked them which pokemon should be my partner. They told me, "Totodile!" So I picked them, but wasn't sure what that means.

According to this guide, it's a pretty good pair. Yay! (Warning, spoiler alert!)
