Webkinz for the First Time in Ages

The girls logged into Webkinz today for the first time in months. They were very excited. Apparently a lot has been added since they took a break. I can't wait to hear about all the new stuff they are finding there.

My daughter asked me if I'd ever play Webkinz again. I told her, that honestly... probably not.

Webkinz no longer is interesting. Going on a Webkinz break. Maybe I'll come back later. For now, I'm playing World of Warcraft.

Webkinz Party this Weekend

There's supposed to be some huge nation-wide party going on this weekend at local Webkinz retailers. I'm trying to figure out if there's one near us. How can I find out?

Over 10,000 Kinzcash in Webkinz

This week, I hit two landmarks in Webkinz. 1) I got the Webkinz Diamond and 2) I hit 10,000 Kinzcash.

I'm not quite sure what I want to spend my cash on. I am thinking of trying out the Webkinz Academy. Although, I'm not sure what the gets me other than the satisfaction of checking something off of a list.

Also, I am thinking of adding to my pet's house. Although, I'm really not interested in interior decorating or clothes.

What else can I do with the cash?

Wheel of Wishes!

This weekend, there is something new on Webkinz - the wheel of wishes! They introduced "tokens", which can be used at the Wish Factory. I wonder what is available there, and I wonder what the different ways of finding tokens are. So far, I've only found them on the wheel of wishes.

Webkinz Raccoon

We visited our local Webkinz store yesterday, and they had the raccoon. It is the cutest thing. And it's soooo soft.

Hmmm.. is it acceptable to ask for a webkinz for Easter?

Buy a Wacky Zingoz Near You!

The Webkinz newspaper this morning tells us that there is a new plush Zingoz available anywhere you can buy Webkinz. Also, when you buy a Zingoz, you get a secret code that lets you play a totally new version of Wacky Zingoz, called Wacky Zingoz Extreme.

I am not quite sure what I will say if the kids tell me they want one...

New Game on Webkinz - Atomicolicious

There's a new game in Webkinz. It's called Atomicolicious. You can only find it in the tournament area.

In this game, you match 3-4 color dots in a row to fill up your test tubes. If you fill them all up, you win! But watch out! Your opponent can make matches to empty your tubes.

It's a fun game. But I've noticed, that people in the tournament area don't like to finish a game if they are far behind in a game. It's hard to get a win when people always bail.

Welcome Olivia! My New Unicorn Webkinz

The Valentine's Fairy just delivered my new Unicorn Lil' Kinz Webkinz stuffed animal. I logged her in and got her set up.

Of course, she had to meet Beary and Carrot, our polar bear and rabbit Webkinz. The girls brought out those dolls, and they did a meet and greet.

I'm looking forward to good times with Olivia.

Webkinz Valentine's Gift

We logged into Webkinz yesterday and got our Valentine's Day gift! It was a bouquet of roses, some chocolate and a Valentine's day card. Also, all day yesterday, the Super Wheel was available. We won some cool rare items - a hot air balloon, a rainy day window and HD Tv. All in all, a great Valentine's Webkinz Day!

Log On To Webkinz On Valentine's Day

Today, when I logged in to give the kids' Webkinz their love, I noticed an ad that said, "Visit on Valentine's Day for a special gift!" I wonder what it is!

Webkinz Scam

Apparently, there's a Webkinz scam going around where someone who claims to have special connections is asking for people's usernames and passwords so that she can give you stuff. NEVER give out your password. If someone is going to give you money or items, they can mail it to you in the game. They don't need your password.

There is a super duper cute Webkinz Lil Kinz Unicorn I found on Amazon today. I wonder if the Valentine's fairy is reading my blog today.

Last night, the family played Sorry! together. I forget how much fun classic games can be.

Webkinz Cheats

I saw a post today that listed the various Webkinz cheats, like ways to get money, get items, or get high scores in the games.

That just doesn't seem fun, or right, to me.

This is supposed to teach kids how to earn money, and then use it wisely. It's supposed to teach kids how to take care of their pet. How is giving them a forever healthy pet, or tons of money, making the game better for them?

As for adults who play Webkinz and have to cheat, there really are no words to respond to that.

The Gem of the Day

In Webkinz, there is a daily gem hunt. Everyday, there is a gem of the day. Yesterday, we found it. Everyone was jumping up and down with excitement.

I thought there would be fireworks or some kind of super duper prize. Nothing like that. Just a little extra cash if we decide to sell it. Some people have said that they were offered 800+ kinzcash. We were only offered 250.

Also, we're not quite sure what the legendary crown of wonder would give us if we manage to collect all the gems. I suppose, we'll just have to wait.

Webkinz Rare Gems, Crown of Wonder, and the Rare Items

I've been finding some great Webkinz info. Today I found out three things from this informative Webkinz post:

1) Arte, the Curio Shop vendor, will tell you secret things when he likes you. There are 6 levels of friendship. And he has different text for telling you what level you're at.

2) Each mine has specific gems to find. The list of gems and which mine they are in are listed here.

3) Rare items are only available in the curio shop certain times of day.

Last night I snuck on to Webkinz and answered some quiz questions to give my daughter a little extra spending cash, and open up some of the available jobs. I'm not sure if Webkinz would be as fun if I weren't being sneaky about it.

Here's a page with info on how to buy new, used and rare Webkinz. After looking around at the rare Webkinz, I kind of want some. What is it about things being 1) cute and 2) hard to find that make one start wanting it?

Proud Mother of Two Webkinz

My daughters have decided that I am their Webkinz' mother. They are not the mother, I am.

My two new children are Beary, a white polar bear Webkinz, and Carrot, a white rabbit webkinz.

Beary and Carrot "ask" for the same hugs and kisses my other two daughters get. They come to me when they are hungry. They also required to be strapped in a seatbelt when we are driving in the car.

I had no idea that when I got my daughters' a Webkinz, that the would be my responsibility too.

The upside is, if the Webkinz are my children, doesn't that mean I can log in and play with them whenever I want to?

Two New Webkinz for Christmas - and a new Wii.

We have two new Webkinz critters in our household. My older daughter got a white rabbit, and my son got a black cat. They were both very happy.

We were able to log in on Christmas day for just long enough to get their Webkinz set up. But right when we were done, the server went down. We tried to get back in through the day, but it didn't work.

I wonder if they had server over-load from all the Christmas Webkinz.

We tried to log in yesterday too, but it gave us a message that the servers were being updated. How frustrating to have down time when it's obvious so many people will be logging in with their new Webkinz.

Fortunately, my dad got the little bros and sis a Wii. So we're plenty distracted.
